11/21/2017 0 Comments my last post These past three months have past really quickly. I've learned way more about photography than I could have ever imagined knowing. From Compositions to Photoshop. My love for photography has grown in these past three months, one reason being, i'm surrounded by a huge school, filled with multiple elements to take photos of. A challenging part of that, was trying to be original. I'm the one who doesn't like to take others ideas. I want to create my own. I wanted to capture something my teacher hasn't seen yet, which was very difficult. For such a large school, it's still difficult to find something that's never been captured. I found many creative things to take photos of In this school, even though it was already, most likely captured, the editing of the photo would make it yours.
In these past three months I have also learned how to use PhotoShop. At the beginning of the year it was a challenge for me, I was struggling to find the tools and follow the instructions. Since my Mom is a Professional I was constantly asking for help. I was sort of falling behind in the class, I couldn't get the assignments turned in on time and my photos were rushed. I finally caught up, which is very difficult, by the way. PhotoShop has shown me it's good and bad's but it was a key component in the process of my photography through these past three months. The last thing, that I can think of, that I learned was, photography isn't easy. When choosing this class I thought, "Oh, this is gonna be an easy A." You have to work hard in this class. You can't lack off, ever. You have to be at the top of your game to be able to keep your grade up. If you slack off, it shows by your grade. When I fell behind, It took awhile to get back up on my feet again. In my opinion, slacking off was definitely not the best idea i've had. My stress levels went insane, when I did eventually get back up, I made sure I stayed there. This class is no the easiest but it is one of my favorites.

11/17/2017 0 Comments visual punsIn this assignment I learned how to take ordinary photos and edit them with other components to create something creative. The thing I had most trouble with was surprisingly, creating the pun. I simply had no idea what to do for a pun. I scrolled through to random photos and created these:)
11/16/2017 0 Comments photo 5 (Still life)For the still life category I chose to take pictures around my house of what my family and I do on a regular basis. In this assignment I learned how to capture what is right in front of you. You don't have to setup as much as you would for other compositions.
11/16/2017 0 Comments photo 7 (architecture)In this weeks assignment I took pictures at Ann Arbor and downtown, Saline. The easiest part about taking pictures in Ann Arbor is that there are buildings everywhere! The most difficult part was trying not to get the same picture multiple times. In this assignment I learned that you have to have the perfect exposure triangle, well at least in my case, because I took my pictures outside. Which means I let in bunches of light. Wherever you went you would always have to change the triangle, which gave me a better teching about the triangle.
11/13/2017 0 Comments multiple meIn this project I learned how to overlap different layers. In the first picture the lighting wasn't the best but still made it work. In the second photo it was only difficult because of how cold it was.
11/6/2017 0 Comments portraitAs a school assignment, we were assigned to take Portrait photos. Our school has a small "studio" where we were able to take some quality portrait photos.
11/4/2017 0 Comments photo 6 (macro)In this weeks assignment, I had to take photos in a cloudy and rainy environment. It was difficult because I continuously had to keep changing the cameras settings, but I finally got the photos to turn out good. ISO-800 F-stop-5.6 SS-1/30
10/23/2017 0 Comments Photo four (color)I chose color because of how much more vibrant the colors in fall. I thought all the photos I used fit the technique because there is at least one color in the photo that adds on to the photo and grabs some attention. Using color I learned that you need to have the camera set at the right type of exposure to get the lighting just right.
10/18/2017 0 Comments panoramicsIn this assignment I learned the basics of learning to take a panoramic. I learned that you need to be able to set up a tripod to take the photo.

photo assignment two (misc.)In comp. two i chose to take pictures of miscellaneous things. I took many photos, but not all of them had the same in common. In this weeks assignment I was able to edit my photos in a higher quality application (app). My photos came out to be nicer than the photos I usually take because I knew how to use photoshop.
